Vacancy programme: Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Level: 3 Duration: 15 to 17 months (dependent on exemptions) Working hours: Monday Friday 9am - 5.30pm (with one hour for lunch unpaid) Course Type: Apprenticeship Standard Apprenticeship Delivery: Work based qualification. A tutor will visit you every 4-6 weeks in your workplace. Company: City Sprint Department: Operations Apprentices To cover various aspects of both Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator duties and to offer support to the operations teams of the Service Centre, to ensure customer service levels are maintained and all duties are carried out in line with internal processes. A successful Business Admin Apprentice positively contributes to the success of the Service Centre by supporting both the Manager/ Operations Manager and all warehouse and operational functions within the Service Centre to ensure all duties are carried out in line with customer Service Level Agreements (SLA). Responsibilities: Collaborates effectively with all stakeholders (Drivers, Service Centre Colleagues, Clients, Suppliers) Acts as a City Sprint ambassador always Demonstrates a strong customer orientation and builds successful/strong customer relationships Actively promotes a positive work environment Where necessary supports the optimisation of all courier resources across the national network Ensures all paperwork and systems are maintained efficiently and accurately and in line with business requirements Supports site housekeeping in line with Health and Safety requirements Proactively supports site housekeeping in line with Health and Safety requirements Understand business patterns and proactively contributes to planning for success in peak periods Skills required: - Excellent communication skills both written and spoken - Ability to Microsoft Office Word and Excel - Attention to detail - Previous experience of customer service either in Retail or Hospitality - Ability to prioritise workload Qualifications required: - GCSE Maths Grades A C, 4 9 or Functional Skills Level 2 (Desirable) - GCSE English Grades A C, 4 9 or Functional Skills Level 2 (Desirable) Personal qualities: - Outgoing - Teamwork - Attention to detail Units Covered: The Apprenticeship programme is made up of different units. Apprentices will be assessed on their knowledge, skills and behaviours throughout the apprenticeship and tracked online using an e-portfolio. These are grouped into 3 themes which complement each other and are as follows: 1. Core Business & Administration 2. Managing Self & Personal Skills 3. Using Resources & Achieving Results. Assessment: After each theme is complete, a Mock End Point Assessment is carried out to ensure apprentices are prepared for the End Point Assessment at the end of the programme. After a minimum of 372 days and successful delivery of the programme, the end point assessment will take place. The end-point assessment is a synoptic assessment of the skills, behaviours and knowledge that have been developed throughout the apprenticeship. End-Point Assessments will involve an independent assessor carrying out final assessments with the apprentice, to ensure that the competences and learning within the Apprenticeship Standard have been met. Apprentices can achieve a pass, merit or distinction dependent on how well they perform in their End-Point Assessment. Functional Skills: 1. also work towards a Level 2 qualification in English and maths in the first half of the programme if they have no prior exemption (GCSE s A C or equivalents in English and Maths).
