Business Process Lead

Our client is looking for a Business Process Lead on a permanent basis, located in Aberdeen.


Responsible for implementing, measuring, monitoring and controlling financial related processes & projects and ensuring outcomes are in harmony with client strategic goals.


Business Processes & Internal Controls

Work in partnership with client Business Process Lead and overall finance and operations group to ensure business processes are aligned with client.
Identify and implement improvements to existing business processes through the development of a program of continuous improvement initiatives.
Review, improve, document and route for approval all finance related procedures.
Project Management

Lead implementation of SAP ERP system in alignment with client implementation team.
Identify, plan, and implement key finance projects.
Schedule and drive meetings with multiple stakeholders, internal (finance and other departments) and external (consultants), to ensure quality and timely delivery of project outcomes.
Provide timely updates to the Financial Controller for the ongoing projects.
Audit Support

Key finance contact for client internal audit managing internal audit process and addressing queries and requests.
Follow up the implementation of management actions.

Any other work as requested by Financial Controller or Finance Director



Fully qualified in recognised finance professional exams with relevant experience in profession or industry.

Experience of working in or with internal or external audit.


Experience in accounting/finance
Solid understanding and in-depth experience of finance related processes and procedures
Hands on knowledge of SAP S4H
Up to date knowledge of current financial law, accounting principles and internal controls
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
Ability to use initiative and work independently and make decisions
Ability to lead teams, work with others and influence others across the company
Good knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office especially Excel

Ability to travel if required

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at different levels and ensure effective stakeholder communication, driven by project objectives
Ability to plan, organize, control and take responsibility for own work and related decisions
Drive for continuous improvement and problem solving approach
Can manage change and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives
