We're looking for a Payment Operations Analyst to join our growing team in Bradford on a full-time permanent basis!

The Payment Operations team are responsible for several key areas including end-to-end processing of all financial transactions such as billing, customer payments, accounts payable and receivable, in compliance with supplier accounts, applicable legislation and internal policies.

What will you be doing?

  • Working with senior team members within the Liberty Global Group to ensure fast, effective query resolution.
  • Interrogating multiple systems at the same time to complete processes and prepare ad-hoc reports as the need arises.
  • Leading on month-end close processes and reconciliations of statements and accounts using MS Excel and ERP sources.
  • Reviewing team processes and actively promoting suggestions to improve process, procedures and systems.
  • Represent your team on company-wide projects and initiatives.

What skills and experience do I need?

We usually look for people with:

  • Experience working within a fast-paced accounts payable or accounts receivable department
  • Understanding of operating, testing, and evidencing operational and audit controls.
  • Proven understanding of Excel.
  • Strong communication skills to explain issues concisely and clearly.
  • Strong reconciliation skills.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Self-motivated and works on your own initiative.

  • Experience of working with Finance / Procurement systems like Oracle and APRO
  • Curiosity about Automation technologies
  • Accounting Technician qualification
  • Project Management
  • Customer service and/or stakeholder engagement
