Prep Supervisor Feltham The Company My client is a successful Audio Visual Rental and installation company providing a large array of audio visual equipment & services into various market sectors. Job Title Prep Supervisor Reporting To Deputy Warehouse Manager/ Warehouse Manager Department Location Feltham, Middlesex Main Purpose To manage the Prep team, overseeing their performance and ensuring the highest quality standards in relation to the Warehouse operations and assist in the day to day running of the Warehouse and resources. Duties and Responsibilities • To recognise and promote the importance of accuracy in our processes in maintaining excellent delivery • To line manage the prep team, including leading departmental meetings • To plan the prep of all jobs from the Feltham Warehouse • To advise Warehouse Manager on resource level required • To supervise the loading of equipment onto vehicles at the Warehouse • To ensure that prep processes are followed • To ensure vehicles are loaded in a timely fashion • To ensure all equipment movements are fully complete • To accurately monitor and follow the Delivery Schedule • To supervise and manage the movement of sub hires • To be the point of escalation for unexpected shortages • To work with Hire Desk to manage Sub Hires and shortages • To support the Warehouse Manager and Deputy Manager with supervision and management of the overall output of the Warehouse and wellbeing of the Warehouse staff. • To identify and facilitate the training needs of the Prep team • To effectively supervise, guide and inspire the Warehouse team in following best practice and their personal development • To work with the Warehouse Manager to evaluate efficiency in our processes and develop to ensure the best quality outcomes • To effectively manage and supervise out of hours Warehouse requirements • To ensure that Health & Safety requirements are always adhered to • Any other duties as required Skills • Previous experience of the Audio-Visual Industry an advantage • Previous experience of supervisor or management position an advantage • Competency with computers including Microsoft 365 Packages (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) • Knowledge of Lightning desirable • Must be fluent in the English language • Full, clean driving licence desirable Competencies • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team • Aptitude to take responsibility • Excellent problem-solving skills • Good organisational skills essential • Attention to detail and accuracy • Resourceful and able to work under pressure Terms and Conditions Core Hours 37.5 hrs per week Flexibility and availability out or hours is required subject to the requirements of the role Scope or Scale Liaison with Client, Staff Members, Sub Contractors and Suppliers Salary and Benefits Subject to experience and qualification Holiday 20 Days plus bank holidays
