Smoke Ventilation Installation Engineer London and the South East Full Time £33,800 £42,900 plus benefits We need great engineers! Are you an ambitious, focused and personable qualified electrician with a background in smoke ventilation engineering, looking to progress your skills in a professional and friendly environment? It is likely that you will currently be maintaining and diagnosing faults in various smoke ventilation systems including SE Controls, Easivent, Colt, Vent engineering etc. You will also be confident in installing these products and be looking to join a reputable company that extends your skills and rewards you properly. You will have a keen work ethic and be willing to go that extra mile for the company and the customer to get the job over the line. Our engineers are required to work ten-hour days including travelling and our engineers prefer early starts. What can you expect in return? Are you the right person for the job? NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent JIB/ECS card Holder Span set, PASMA, IPAF Working knowledge of ADB; BS EN 12101;BS 9999; BS 9991 & BS 7346 pt 8 Working knowledge of multiple manufacturers equipment e.g Colt, SCS, FDS & SE Controls Current full clean driving licence What will your role as an Installation Engineer look like? To ensure that all work by yourself and others complies with the latest standards and guidance To be able to wire & fix a wide range of smoke ventilation products from a range of manufacturers To be able to work on large or small installations and ensure that you are working to the correct design and standards as per the drawings provided To be able to accommodate different trades and disruption to projects and still manage to get work over the line To assist commissioning engineers with the commissioning of various systems as required Take personal responsibility for your own development within a company with a clear development path You will communicate effectively with customers and staff and work with lead engineers to ensure that key project deadlines are met What s it like to work at FTG Ltd?
